empowerment grant Awardees
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) has been the primary source of funding for this program. As a result of expiring funds, the Empowerment Grants program will conclude in Summer 2024. As intended by ARPA funds, this program helped close a gap of services that Columbus families and youth experienced as a result of the COVID-19 health pandemic.
Franklinton Development Association funded programs that serve the westside of Columbus. Youth and Community Empowerment Grants program fund organizations that engage with youth and families by creating positive experiences and job readiness.
